Ducks

Our journey started with a small group of Silver Appleyard ducks. They are our main breed focus, with emphasis being placed on breeding to the Standard of Perfection and helping to conserve this rare heritage breed.
We also have a small breeding flock of Call ducks. They are the highlight of the yard for many visitors and are real characters.
We are also working on a project pen with a magpie drake and some Shetland hens and possibly crossbred magpie ducklings. We will post more info on these guys if and when they are available!

Chickens

We will no longer be offering pure Swedish Hedemora. We have kept back a few birds so may be able to hatch a limited number of chicks, but only by request.
We do have a small mixed bantam flock consisting of silkies, Cochins, and sultans and will likely have mixed eggs on offer to those who are interested.

Geese

We hope to offer Sebastopol goslings and eggs this season. Stay tuned!

Turkeys

We have high hopes to be able to offer limited numbers of royal palm poults this coming season, if the turkeys cooperate. Stay tuned.

Get in Touch

Our focus is on producing birds that are hale and hearty and can perform well with limited supervision. Our birds all have access to pasture during the summer as well as fresh vegetation and access to pelleted feed year round. All the birds forage well or they don’t stay on the farm for long.
We would love to hear from you if you have any questions!
